OUR STORY
We are Ivana and Beau Zwierenberg, the two people behind Funlixar. In April 2022
we registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce and started a small webshop for
party goods from our home in Heerhugowaard. There was no big plan and no
investors, just two people with a room full of garlands, candles and table
decorations, and the belief that a celebration becomes better when the small
things are right.
What we did not see coming was how often there was a couple planning a wedding
on the other side of an order. The questions that came in were always a little
more specific than the ones about birthdays. Whether we also had it in ivory.
Whether there was enough for fourteen tables. Whether it would stay upright at
an outdoor ceremony on a windy afternoon. We started answering those questions,
and slowly shaped our collection around them. That is how the wedding side of
Funlixar grew into the part we care about most.
WHAT YOU WILL FIND HERE
Decoration for the ceremony, for the dinner and for everything in between.
Candles and holders, table numbers, aisle decoration, floral pieces, napkin
rings, signage and welcome boards, plus the small details nobody thinks about
until the day itself. Our style is calm and timeless. We like soft tones,
natural materials and decoration that dresses a room without demanding
attention. Your day should be about you, not about the things on the table.
HOW WE WORK
We choose everything ourselves and would rather order small runs of something
lovely than pallets of something average. If we would not put it on our own
table, we do not sell it. Orders are packed by us, not in a warehouse far away,
and when you write to us with a question about quantities or colours, the answer
comes from Ivana or Beau rather than from a script.
Not sure how much you need for your guest count, or whether two colours work
together? Send us a message. We are happy to think it through with you, even
when that means you end up ordering less than you planned.
ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Funlixar is run by our company, a general partnership under the name BiLucid,
registered in the Dutch Trade Register since 6 April 2022 under Chamber of
Commerce number 86129058, with Ivana Paulina Zwierenberg and Beau Zwierenberg as
partners. You will find us in Heerhugowaard at De Groene Trede 9, 1704AE. We are
an online shop, so visits are by appointment only.
